Congratulations from Nikol Pashinyan and Arayik Harutyunyan to the Russian People on Their National Holiday
Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, on the occasion of Russia Day. The message states in particular:
“Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, I sincerely congratulate you and the fraternal people of Russia on the occasion of your national holiday, Russia Day. June 12 embodies the fundamental transformations in the political and economic sectors of the country in the recent history of Russia and the further strengthening of Russia’s role and position on the international stage.
Today, Armenia and Russia are consistently developing Armenian-Russian allied relations, based on the desire to build multifaceted cooperation on the solid foundation of our peoples’ centuries-old friendship. I am confident that the intergovernmental relations between Armenia and Russia will continue to develop through allied cooperation, in the interests of our states, and to ensure regional stability and security.
Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, on this festive day, I wish you good health and new achievements in your responsible position, and to the people of Russia, I wish happiness and prosperity.”
— The President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, also congratulated the Russian people on their national holiday. Today, the fraternal Russian people celebrate their national holiday, Russia Day. We sincerely congratulate our friendly country on this memorable holiday, a celebration that marked the beginning of a new phase in a multi-century history, significant events, and radical reforms aimed at improving the living standards of the population, further development, and strengthening of the state.
For centuries, our two peoples have had strong and warm ties based on a historical, cultural, spiritual, and value-based common foundation. For centuries, amid the whirlpool of geopolitical upheavals, Artsakh has always valued Russia’s invaluable place and role in our region, especially in maintaining peace and stability here. Today, the peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation are also ensuring our security along with us. We are deeply grateful to them and are appreciative.
We express our gratitude to President Vladimir Putin for his personal efforts and undeniable contribution to the resolution of the Azerbaijan-Karabakh conflict. On behalf of the people and authorities of the Republic of Artsakh and personally from me, I once again congratulate our brothers on this sacred holiday and wish peace and prosperity to the Russian people and to the Russian Federation, which has also become the homeland for millions of Armenians.”
