Firefighting Operations Continue at Nubarashen Landfill

Since June 8, the firefighting units of the Emergency Situations Ministry’s Rescue Service in Yerevan have been conducting firefighting operations at the Nubarashen landfill.

The Ministry reports that this morning, on June 11, two firefighting units and an operational group from the Department of Firefighting and Rescue Operations have returned to the scene.

Also involved in the firefighting efforts are four tractors and auxiliary vehicles (water carriers), two pieces of engineering equipment, and a dump truck.

It is noted that on June 8, at 10:04 AM, the National Center for Crisis Management received information that a fire had broken out at the Nubarashen landfill in Yerevan.
