Direct Flights from Yerevan to Crimea Begin This June
The airline "Nordwind" will begin transit flights from Simferopol International Airport to Vladikavkaz and back to Yerevan starting June 15. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.
The flights will operate once a week on Tuesdays until October 26, using "Embraer E190" aircraft. The overall journey will take approximately five hours.
According to the press service of the Crimea aviation hub, this will be the first instance of direct flights between Simferopol and Vladikavkaz in modern history. Following the launch of these flights, the range of destinations to Crimea will expand to a record 63 routes.
Sergey Dyakin, the commercial director of Simferopol International Airport, stated that the flights will attract passengers traveling from Simferopol to the capital of Armenia.
