VIDEO: Former Member of 'Rejected Surrender' Initiative Covers Civil Contract Logo with a Cloth
Anush Lalayan, who was a member of the 'Rejected Surrender' and 'My Step' civil initiatives back in 2018, today covered the logo of the Civil Contract party with a cloth, declaring the 'end of Pashinyan's rule.'
The relevant video was posted by Lalayan on her Facebook page, accompanied by a statement:
"I am covering the logo of the Civil Contract with a cloth to announce the end of Pashinyan's rule. Dear compatriots, in April 2018 I covered a speed camera with a cloth; I thought that by doing so, I was closing the chapter of the past, which would open a new door to peace, well-being, and democratization. However, under Nikol Pashinyan's rule, a new, grotesque chapter of our history opened. For those who participated in the nationwide enthusiasm of 2018, it was unimaginable what calamity Nikol and his gang could bring upon the Armenian people. We were all deceived. But the shame lies not with the deceived, but with the deceiver; the deceived is the victim, while the deceiver is the dishonorable. And although the deceiver feels no shame, we, the deceived, must rectify our mistake.
Now, we must all close the chapter of death, hatred, destruction, and instability. With this act, I announce the end of Nikol Pashinyan's rule, forever closing this chapter of national disgrace. I am convinced that the future of our country will be shaped only after the dismissal of Nikol Pashinyan and his group. I firmly believe that on June 21, we will wake up without Nikol in Armenia," she wrote.
It is worth noting that Lalayan made a similar initiative in 2018 by covering one of the speed cameras installed on Mashtots Avenue with a cloth.
