Russia and Turkey Discuss Issues of Syria, Nagorno-Karabakh, and Ukraine
The Russian Federation and the Republic of Turkey have addressed the issues of Syria, Nagorno-Karabakh, and Ukraine during consultations held at the level of the foreign ministries of the two countries.
“We have discussed in detail the political aspects of resolving conflicts based on international law and relevant UN Security Council resolutions, including those in Syria, Nagorno-Karabakh, the Palestine-Israel issue, and other regional conflicts,” the Russian Foreign Ministry's statement said.
“The Russian side emphasized the necessity for a balanced approach to the situation in southeastern Ukraine, highlighting the inadmissibility of Kyiv's aggressive ambitions and anti-Russian initiatives,” the Russian Foreign Ministry’s report noted.
