Nikol Pashinyan Calls for Inciting Civil Clashes, Creating New ‘March 1’ Events: Naira Zohrabyan
This election campaign is unprecedented in its use of hate speech. This was stated today at a press conference by Naira Zohrabyan, a member of the ‘Election Monitoring Committee’.
“We firmly believe that the acting Prime Minister is using absolutely unacceptable vocabulary, language of hatred, not to mention profanity, effectively escalating the campaign and directing one part of society to publicly call for violence against another part,” she said.
Zohrabyan quoted statements by Nikol Pashinyan that contain violence: “I am also choosing the type of weapon and lining you up against the wall,” “You are nothing, you are not a man,” “We will break the teeth of the roboserj faction,” “There will be political vendettas, purges, and there will be ruins,” and other quotes.
“These are direct calls to incite civil clashes, calls to create new ‘March 1’ events. Knowing Pashinyan, I can say that he finds himself in such a severe psychological crisis when he sees that his manipulative codes are not working,” she said.
Moreover, Naira Zohrabyan noted that on her way here, she received a warning that money is being distributed; Tavush province governor Hayk Ghaloumyan has decided to distribute 41.1 million drams to the communities in the region.
