Citizen Dies in Hospital After Attack by Stray Dogs

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, on June 8, Sofik Bznuni, an 84-year-old resident of Aragatsotn Province, passed away in the intensive care unit of the Armenia Medical Center. As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, she was transferred to the hospital on June 7 with "dog bite wounds and traumatic shock" after receiving first aid and was transported by ambulance.

Officers from the community police division of the Ashtarak police department arrived at the hospital to investigate. They discovered that on June 7, around 10:30 AM, Bznuni was working in her vineyard near a landfill in the administrative territory of the Sasunik community when she was attacked by stray dogs, resulting in her injuries.
