Biden and Erdogan to Meet: Nagorno-Karabakh Issue Among Topics Discussed
As the meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and U.S. President Joe Biden approaches on June 14, the White House has issued an official statement. Ermenihaber reports that the statement addressed the agenda for the upcoming meeting.
U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan noted that the two leaders will discuss matters specifically related to the eastern Mediterranean, Syria, Iran, and the Nagorno-Karabakh region (Artsakh) during their meeting.
The meeting is scheduled to take place in Brussels, Belgium, as part of the NATO summit. Erdogan and Biden will also touch upon U.S.-Turkey bilateral relations.
