«Hayots Ardzivner» Stops Campaign, Calls for Election Cancellation

The leader of the party «Hayots Ardzivner, Unified Armenia», Khachik Asryan, has announced the suspension of the campaign, stating that the party will not participate in the early elections. This was declared by Asryan during a broadcast on Public Television.

He pointed out that early elections cannot be held throughout the entire territory of Armenia because some areas are occupied, which implies the necessity to cancel the early elections.

He clarified that the suspension of the campaign is due to the threat to Armenia's territorial integrity. He called for unification to cancel the elections, to actively work together to oust Azerbaijanis from the territory of the Republic of Armenia, and then hold new early elections, as Armenia’s integrity and security are more important than any election.
