Stop Lavish Spending and Ensure the Safety of Our Heroes, Artak Hovhannisyan
You do not care about the remains of our heroic boys, nor the fate of our missing and captured soldiers. You can peacefully run your campaign and hold a wine festival.
This was stated by Artak Hovhannisyan, the father of Albert Hovhannisyan, who died during the 44-day war, on his Facebook page. He specifically noted, “You say, why are the parents of the heroes upset? I will tell you: because you do not care about the remains of our heroic boys, nor the fate of our missing and captured soldiers. You can peacefully run your campaign, hold a wine festival and engage in similar activities. The money you lavishly spend on such matters should be used to equip the positions and ensure the safety of our boys at the front.”
He continued, “If you know, a couple of careless officials who disrupted the initiative for our heroes' monument have not been able to respond to my letter to the city hall for months now. I have a lot to say, but everything should be done in its time. And please, do not turn my page into a platform for self-assertion.”
