VIDEO: "There is a serious problem with water resources security" - Arman Tatoyan

“The fact that Lake Sevan is under the control of Azerbaijan poses a serious threat. Irrigation and drinking water systems are being formed from there,” Armenian Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan warned during a conversation with journalists today.

Commenting on the current situation, Tatoyan noted, “We have two situations: first, Azerbaijani soldiers are physically present in our specific territories; second, they are monitoring areas under their observation. It is very unfortunate that the human rights component does not receive adequate attention. In the context of delimitation and demarcation, we cannot allow everything to fall into political and military frameworks. We forget that there are people there,” he said.
