Snow Falls in Turkey

On Thursday, snow fell in several provinces along the Black Sea coast of Turkey. Snow was reported in various highland villages in Ardahan, Rize, and Bolu provinces, as well as at the famous Erciyes ski resort in Kayseri province, situated around the Erciyes volcano. A five-centimeter layer of snow also covered Mount Uludag (Olympos) in the western Bursa region. According to AHaber TV, temperatures in the area had reached +30 degrees last week.

The Turkish State Meteorological Service warned on Twitter about heavy rainfall along the Black Sea coast and urged citizens to take precautions.
