Citizen Reports Black Cloth Placed on Parents' Grave Signifying Death Threat According to Tradition
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Armavir region yesterday, on June 2. Around 7:00 PM, a 44-year-old resident of one of the villages in Armavir, Amr M., approached the Armavir police department and reported that a day earlier he had visited the cemetery of his relatives located in a village in the Armavir region, where his father and mother are buried. Near the grave, he noticed a black piece of cloth.
As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, Amr M. informed the police that, according to their tradition, placing a black cloth in the cemetery signifies revenge, which means death threats.
G. Shamshyan’s report indicates that Amr M. also shared who he suspects might be responsible for this act. The report received by the Armavir police has been sent to the Baghramyan police department for further action based on territorial jurisdiction.
