Collision Between Niva and 06 Leads to Hospitalization of 2 Contracted Soldiers
Today, June 2, a traffic accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 10:10 AM, at the intersection of M. Khorenatsi and Grigori streets in the village of Avshar, vehicles driven by 29-year-old Boris Badalyan and 66-year-old Sos Khachatryan collided. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, Khachatryan and his passenger, 64-year-old Petik Torosyan, a resident of the Ararat region, were taken to the 'Ararat' Medical Center with injuries.
The collision caused the Niva to veer off the roadway, breaking a gas pipeline and its support column, and partially ending up in a resident's yard.
According to G. Shamshyan's reports, those hospitalized are serving as contracted soldiers in the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
