VIDEO: Azerbaijan Announces Corridor Creation from Lake Sevan to Bichanak Area
The actions undertaken by Azerbaijan in our region known as Lake Sevan aim to provoke military confrontation and create a corridor from Lake Sevan to the Bichanak area, acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a Q&A session with the parliament.
"There is much discussion about the Armenian army not taking military action but rather appealing to the Collective Security Treaty Organization. It is precisely the CSTO and our partner countries within that organization that have urged Armenia not to pursue a military resolution to the situation," he said.
According to Pashinyan, Armenia's decision to avoid a military solution also aims to prevent CSTO countries from being inadvertently drawn into a military resolution.
