Possible Increase in Train Cars for Yerevan-Gyumri-Yerevan Route, Says South Caucasian Railway
Due to a sharp increase in passenger traffic on the Yerevan-Gyumri-Yerevan route, the South Caucasian Railway company is considering the possibility of increasing the number of train cars serving the route during weekends. This information is reported by the company's press service.
"Specifically, there was a significant rise in passenger flow towards Gyumri during the last weekend. Not all those wishing to travel were able to board, therefore South Caucasian Railway apologizes for the inconvenience caused," the statement reads.
As a result, the company is now looking into the options to increase the number of electric train cars on the Yerevan-Gyumri-Yerevan route.
