Former MP's Family Suffers Millions in Damage Due to Yesterday's Storm

On May 23, a severe wind and storm across the republic caused significant damage, including to the buildings owned by the late former MP Hakob Hakobyan.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the storm tore off the metal roof of a construction located near the "Zvartnots" hotel complex, pulling it several meters away. Some of the roofing sheets were thrown as far as 100-150 meters, while others got caught in nearby high-voltage power lines. Emergency workers from the "Armenian Electric Networks" company's "Musaler" branch quickly arrived to address the situation and remove the metal sheets.
