Bitcoin Exchange Rate Decline Accelerates

The exchange rate of Bitcoin, the world's most popular digital currency, dropped by 18.32% during a trading auction on May 23, reaching $31,179. According to data cited by the TASS agency from the Coindesk portal, the exchange rate fluctuated within the range of $33,348 (-11.02%) throughout the day.

It is noteworthy that on May 12, Bitcoin experienced a sharp decline following a statement from American businessman Elon Musk, who hinted that he would no longer accept Bitcoin as a payment method for his electric vehicles. Following that post, the price of the most famous digital currency fell by nearly 10%.
