Arbitrary Detention of Judge's Vehicle Continues Without Legal Grounds for 11th Day, Lawyer Claims

Lawyer Tigran Atanesyan reports that the authorities continue to arbitrarily detain the vehicle of Judge Alexander Azaryan.

“In a farcical twist, the foolish authorities of Armenia have now kept Judge A. Azaryan’s vehicle under arbitrary detention for the 11th day without any legal grounds. Appeals sent to the Prosecutor General, Chief of Police, and the Human Rights Defender have yet to yield any results. Let me remind you that the vehicle was moved to a special protected area ('plashadka') on the oral instructions of the Deputy Chief of the Road Police, without any justification,” he stated.
