41-Year-Old Man Injured Due to Explosion in Backyard

On May 22, the police department of Taroni received a report from the hospital regarding a 41-year-old man who was admitted with injuries including "amputation of the 3rd and 4th fingers of the right hand, and shrapnel wounds to various parts of the body, particularly the right thigh." These injuries were sustained in the backyard of his home due to an explosion.

The injured man informed the responding officers that while performing household chores in the shed, he found two items with aluminum rods and attempted to dismantle them. During this process, one of the objects exploded in his hand.

Upon inspecting the scene, police discovered an explosive device of the type 'UZRGМ-74'. An examination has been ordered, and an investigation is underway.
