Silent Protest Held in London Demanding Release of Armenian Prisoners of War

A silent protest demanding the release of Armenian prisoners of war has taken place in yet another European capital. These protests have been ongoing for seven months. Gathered in Trafalgar Square, London, the protesters are calling for Azerbaijan to respect the ceasefire agreement and return Armenian prisoners. Marianna Hasyan stated, “Today we have come to one of London’s central squares, Trafalgar Square, to conduct a silent protest demanding the release of our Armenian prisoners of war who are currently held in Azerbaijan. We also demand that the Azerbaijani troops withdraw from Armenian territory.”
