Handing Over the Enclaves to Azerbaijan Poses Risks to the Yerevan-Syunik Road and Armenia-Georgia, Armenia-Russia Strategic Highway

Experts explain on the map that by handing over the so-called enclaves to Azerbaijan, the Yerevan-Syunik road, as well as the Armenia-Georgia and Armenia-Russia strategically significant highways, will be endangered, according to Mediaport.

“It should be noted that Nikol Pashinyan is preparing to sign a document on border clarification with Azerbaijan, which includes the handover of seven enclave villages in Tavush and Tigranashen (Kyarki) to the enemy. Regarding Pashinyan's hint at returning Artsvashen in exchange for this, the expert states that it is an area of no military significance for Armenia; we will be conceding strategically important roads without receiving anything in return,” the outlet states.
