VIDEO: Armenian Wrestler Pulls Turkish Opponent's Ear After Victory
A video featuring wrestler Razmik Papikyan has surfaced online, showing the Armenian athlete pulling the ear of his Turkish opponent following his victory.
Razmik Papikyan has been awarded the title of Master of Sports through the relevant decrees of the President of Armenia and the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.
On the international stage, Razmik achieved his first significant success in 2016 when he became the vice-champion in the 46 kg weight category at the European Championship for under-10 wrestlers held in Stockholm, Sweden.
By the age of 20, in 2019, he clinched the title in the 61 kg weight category in Armenia. Razmik has won numerous major international competitions.
He trains under Petros Mkrtchyan and was the winner of the 2020 Armenian Championship in Freestyle Wrestling for the 61 kg weight category. He is also a fifth-place finisher in the World Cup for the 61 kg weight class in 2020.
