Soldier Goes Missing in Vardenis Region

Journalist Voskan Sarkisyan has reported on his Facebook page that a conscript soldier from the Vardenis region has gone missing. The soldier, Norik Aghababyan, is an 18-year-old resident of the village of Koghb in the Tavush province.

He has been serving in Vardenis since January. According to information received from Koghb, his phone has been found, which he last used to access the internet. It has been a week since Norik went missing, but the Armenian Ministry of Defence has not released any statements regarding the situation.
