VIDEO: Police Assaults Hero of Artsakh, Yegishe Botsinyan, Wounded in Five Places during the Battle of Shushi

The "Zartonk" National Christian Initiative has stated on its Facebook page that the special forces of the police have roughly detained and assaulted Yegishe Botsinyan, a Knight of the First Class of the Combat Cross, who was wounded in five places during the Battle of Shushi, at the site of a peaceful gathering on Baghramyan Avenue.

He has been taken to the hospital with bruises and contusions. Yegishe had come from Stepanakert to Yerevan for treatment and is disabled.

We strongly condemn the behavior of the special forces of the Police of the Republic of Armenia. This is unacceptable. Considering that issues at the border are currently being resolved through hand-to-hand combat, we urge our fellow Armenians holding peaceful gatherings to instead direct their energy towards ensuring the security of the Armenian borders.
