Victory: Azerbaijan to Pay €30,000 Compensation to Alexander Lapshin

The European Court of Human Rights has found the Azerbaijani authorities guilty of an assassination attempt on prominent Israeli blogger Alexander Lapshin. Lapshin announced this on his Facebook page.

“Victory. The European Court of Human Rights has found the Azerbaijani authorities guilty of an assassination attempt and the application of cruel torture against me in a Baku prison. Azerbaijan is obliged to pay €30,000 in compensation,” he stated.

He expressed gratitude to his lawyers.
