The Leader of the Authority is Preparing to Sign Armenia's Second Capitulation: Turkologist

Turkologist Varujan Geghamyan wrote on his Facebook page: "I will explain point by point what consequences the document that capitulatory N. Pashinyan is preparing to sign will have for Armenia. Armenia recognizes Azerbaijan's territorial integrity as defined by Azerbaijan. This includes all disputed territories that will be transferred to Azerbaijan.

By recognizing Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, Armenia is definitively abandoning Armenian Artsakh. As a result, the Armenian population of Artsakh is being completely displaced.

Armenia is ceding several territories located in the Tavush and Ararat regions to Azerbaijan (see the attached maps by Sedrak Mkrtchyan indicating the areas being ceded), which had been given to Soviet Azerbaijan due to strange decisions during the Soviet era. Azerbaijan is refusing to give Armenia the Armenian enclave (Artsvashen). Even if such a thing were to happen, no Armenian would settle in Artsvashen, which is about 7 km away from Armenia and completely surrounded by Azerbaijan. In other words, we get nothing in return for our concessions.

As a result of territorial concessions, we will see direct Azerbaijani-Turkish military presence in the Tavush, Ararat, and Vayots Dzor regions, which will attempt to deepen their presence at every opportunity and exert pressure on Armenia. Through these territorial concessions, Armenia is losing the security of its two main routes connecting it to the outside world. The Goris-Kapan segment of the road with Iran has already been under Turkish control since December, and new concessions will also give Turkish control over the road connecting to Georgia. Thus, the beautiful expression of 'transportation unblocking' transforms into a full blockade of Armenia.

Armenia is giving a corridor with a special status through Syunik to Turkey and Azerbaijan, which is enshrined in the capitulation document of November 9. Armenia does not receive anything similar in return from Azerbaijan. The roads passing through Azerbaijan are not only unfavorable but also lack any security guarantees for Armenians.

Azerbaijan and Turkey will exert pressure through various means to make us abandon our military (the two countries are already working on this topic, and the local occupation regime has begun reducing the size of the army). We will be deprived of any opportunity to resist.

As a result, Armenia is losing its geopolitical weight, ultimately losing Syunik within five years and turning into a colony of Turkey and Azerbaijan. Formally, we will still have a state (flag, coat of arms, anthem, etc.), but in reality, we will be a country completely dependent on the will of Turkey and Azerbaijan, which will dictate the conditions for our existence. I must also remind you that in their plans, the existence of an independent and strong Armenian state in this area is unacceptable, and they will continue to weaken Armenia.

And if you think that even under these humiliating conditions you will be able to make a living and sleep safely, you are gravely mistaken. Don’t believe it? Ask the Greeks of Cyprus, the Armenians of Syria, or the people of Syunik.

FOLLOW-UP | The de facto pro-Turkish ruling power leader of Armenia is preparing to sign Armenia's second capitulation. The only thing that can hinder this is public dissent. Explain this to your friends, relatives, and organize yourselves; do not wait for anyone. Do not succumb to cheap blackmail. There are bad and good leaders in Armenia, but there is one traitor that must be stopped. It is my duty to warn that Armenia may never recover from this second capitulation.
