My wish is that what is ours remains ours, we do not want others' – Arthur Abraham
My wish is that what is ours remains ours, we do not want others' – what is ours should stay with us, and what belongs to others should go to them. We should not give away any part of our land to anyone. This was stated by boxer Arthur Abraham during a conversation with reporters, addressing the border situation.
He emphasized the need for unity and strength in order to prevail. “Throughout our lives, we have faced challenges from all sides; we must be strong in our resolve, that is the only way,” he said, noting that he experienced the unity of the nation during wartime.
When asked whether the mentality of defeat spreads to athletes, Arthur Abraham pointed out that a loser must come back stronger. “It is true that there are moments in life when you lose, but you have to try to return twice as strong. That is the most important thing,” said Abraham.
He remarked that all nations have their issues, but the Armenian nation has always been united, respectful, and quick to come together during any crisis. “I do not want to discuss politics; I am an athlete and do not understand politics, nor do I have the right to talk about it,” said the boxer.
Arthur Abraham emphasized that he follows the news and wants what is ours to remain with us.
