Defense Ministry Urges to Refrain from Sharing Videos

Following the provocations carried out by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on May 12 and 13, the situation as of noon on May 21 has not undergone significant changes. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

On the evening of May 20, a dispute occurred near Lake Sevan, prompted by videos circulating on Armenian and Azerbaijani social networks and media involving Armenian and Azerbaijani soldiers. This dispute was resolved through the efforts of senior command.

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia urges to refrain from sharing such videos. They do not contribute to a peaceful resolution of the issue, but rather escalate unnecessary tensions.

Overall, the situation is stable. Armenian Armed Forces units fully control the situation, continuing to block Azerbaijani military personnel.
