‘CSTO is a balloon’: Displaced Armenians burst balloons near the Russian Embassy

Displaced residents from Artsakh staged a protest in front of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Armenia.

“The CSTO has long been a balloon; we have talked about this many times. It is a balloon in the sense that the CSTO does not serve its statutory purposes and objectives. Turkey has long entrenched itself in both Russia and Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and so on. This organization could be given another name, for instance, ‘Alliance for Serving Turkish Interests.’ Armenia has no role in this organization,” said Mariam Avagyan, one of the participants in the protest, during a conversation with reporters.

The participants brought balloons with the inscription “CSTO” and burst them one by one.
