COVID-19 Statistics in Armenia for Today

As of May 21, Armenia has recorded 140 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 221,699. According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, 7 citizens have died from the virus within a day, increasing the death toll to 4,371.

Additionally, there have been 3 cases of patients who died from other illnesses but were also infected with COVID-19. The total number of such fatalities as of May 21 stands at 1,072. Overall, 10 people have died in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths to 5,443.

In terms of recoveries, 484 individuals have recovered from the virus in the past day, making the total number of recoveries reach 210,464. The number of patients currently undergoing treatment has decreased by 354, totaling 5,792.

In the past 24 hours, 2,932 tests have been conducted, with a cumulative total of 1,053,007 tests performed to date.
