Choznavar is 2 km away from enemy positions: Villagers demand weapons for defense

On May 20, the Zangezur TV filming crew visited the Choznavar settlement in the enlarged community of Tegh. Official information has been confirmed that the enemy has advanced again into the territory of Armenia, violating the border near the Black Lake. Thus, the enemy has brought Choznavar, located only 2 km away from their positions, within their line of sight.

Choznavar residents are primarily demanding weapons for defense. One of the local residents stated that upon learning of the news, women and children were evacuated from the village within an hour.

However, the community administration assures that the situation in Choznavar village is calm. "Later in the evening, under the leadership of community head Nerses Shadunts, our border guards returned to their original positions along with the army corps and the Tegh village squad. Everything is being done to maintain stability. Currently, all positions of the community are under our control. Residents have resumed their daily activities," the distributed statement said.
