The 'I Have Honor' Alliance Calls on All Political and Social Forces in Armenia to Gather in Front of the Government Building at 19:00 Today
The 'I Have Honor' alliance has issued a statement, which reads:
“The unimpeded incursion of Azerbaijani troops into the territory of the Republic of Armenia, their positioning, new demands presented to Armenia, as well as the confirmation today by the head of the capitulatory government regarding a new draft document in negotiations with Azerbaijan, raise deep concerns.
This is the unpatriotic government that has concealed the real course of the Artsakh negotiations since May 2018, led the country to a bloody war, resulted in a disastrous defeat, and secretly signed a humiliating statement from society. This is the unpatriotic government that after the ceasefire agreement conceded territories not stipulated in the trilateral statement of November 9 to Azerbaijan, including areas in Kovsakan and Sanasar, as well as the villages of Khndzoresk and Hin Tagher in the Hadrut region, along with the strategically important Dizapait mountain and adjacent heights.
This government has concealed these concessions from society for a long time and only admitted to certain details after they became known.
This circumstance shows that there are no guarantees that the current course of negotiations, let alone the draft that is on the agenda, corresponds to the vital interests of Armenia, Artsakh, and the Armenian people.
Taking into account the above, the 'I Have Honor' alliance demands:
- Immediate cessation of all shadow agreements and negotiations relating to Armenia and Artsakh.
- Immediate publication of the complete draft document with all its annexes.
- A call for all political and social forces in Armenia, representatives, and concerned citizens of our country to gather today at 19:00 in front of the government building to demand compliance with the presented provisions.
- In case of non-compliance with these demands, the Alliance reserves the right to fight against the unpatriotic capitulationist and treacherous policies by all available means. We will discuss our further steps on-site.”
