Protest Action Held in Front of Government: We Are Also Supporting Our Soldiers
Citizens are holding a protest action in front of the Government against the document concerning the delimitation and demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The event is also attended by the leader of the "5165" movement, Karin Tonoyan.
"I believe that today every person in Armenia has something to say. I will speak today as a mother whose 5,000 children have fallen, a mother who has 11,000 wounded sons, a mother whose at least 10,000 grandchildren were not sacrificed. Our children fell, but they fell with pride. I saw that video yesterday, and until now, I am just crazy. I would never have believed that an Armenian soldier would be put in such a situation. I am now simply calling for honor. The Armenian soldier has been put in this situation; they are not allowed to fire. And if we do not gather here today and tell our soldiers that we stand behind them, then we are also breaking their backs," said Tonoyan.
