Controversial Points: Auroranews Examines the Document

The text of the upcoming trilateral statement does not mention any territorial concessions. However, there are several controversial points:

Notably, in the document, Nikol Pashinyan is presented not as the acting Prime Minister but as the Prime Minister. By contacting the press department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we learned that both in the statements released by the Ministry and in international documents, the status in which the official de jure is should be stated. That is, it should have been noted as acting Prime Minister, but...

The other controversial point is that the first point stipulates the acceptance of the states' territorial boundaries. This means that Armenia will recognize Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, including the regions of Shushi and Hadrut occupied by Azerbaijan.

We should also add that the document has been published now; however, the commission formed by the heads of state will be established by June 30, and the results will be presented after the commission meeting within a month. Remember, early parliamentary elections in Armenia will take place on June 20.

It is significant that according to information disseminated by Azerbaijani sources, the document will be signed today at 16:00, and at 17:00, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will go live from the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, which will be broadcasted on Facebook and YouTube.
