Incident from the Day Before That I Reported: Taguhi Tovmasyan on the Viral Video

A video circulating on the internet shows footage of an attack by Azerbaijanis on Armenian border guards in Gegharkunik. The footage depicts the enemy degrading and assaulting Armenian servicemen on Armenian territory.

In an interview with ArmDaily.am, independent MP Taguhi Tovmasyan stated that this incident occurred the day before, which she had reported previously. “The Azerbaijanis have become brazen, engaging in altercations and beating Armenian border guards. We must respond appropriately,” she said.

When asked whether there are captives as a result of the incident, she responded that only the Ministry of Defense can provide clarification on that matter.

Addressing the current border situation, she remarked that perhaps the only news is that there is no news. “The enemy has not made any advances.”

The Ministry of Defense noted that the video is still under investigation, and an official statement will be released later.
