Explosion Heard in Kut, Where Adversary is Stationed

The administrative head of the Kut village in the Gegharkunik region, Sima Chitchyan, reported on the border situation, noting that an explosion was heard yesterday from the area where Azerbaijanis are stationed, according to mamul.am.

“There were two pieces of machinery at the explosion site, but we don’t know what caused it,” he said, adding that the area has been mined for over 30 years.

S. Chitchyan is unaware if there were any casualties from the explosion.
