Negotiations Ended 15 Hours Ago with No Official Statement: Tigran Abrahamyan
The head of the "Hanaket" analytical center, Tigran Abrahamyan, writes: "The negotiations held with the Azerbaijanis have ended 15 hours ago, and various theories and predictions have circulated in Armenian, Russian, and Azerbaijani media and social networks.
Information has come from various directions, except for official sources. Different figures in power are merely busy trying to 'cover up' their failures, ensuring 'hush-hush' and avoiding responsibility, following the now traditional style of behavior.
Do you understand? The negotiations ended 15 hours ago, and there is no official statement on the matter. Put aside the opposition, the political processes; understand that people simply want to know what has happened and what awaits them.
I advise the NSS (National Security Service) to engage in educational work with state structures on the aforementioned topic instead of issuing another moralizing call regarding information security.
By the way, the disgraceful behavior of various figures in power yesterday and the silence of official institutions have deepened and escalated societal doubts and concerns about the government's intentions to promise new concessions to the Azerbaijanis to a dangerous degree."
