Young Man Who Opened Fire in Kazan School Diagnosed with Brain Disorder
A brain disorder has been diagnosed in Ilnaz Galyavev, the young man who carried out a shooting at School No. 175 in Kazan. This was reported by Novaya Gazeta, citing a press release from the Investigative Committee.
According to investigative data, Ilnaz Galyavev had not been registered with doctors, including a psychologist and a narcologist. However, it has been revealed that he sought medical help multiple times in the past due to severe headaches. Last year, a diagnosis was made indicating a brain disorder. Since the beginning of this year, his relatives had also noted that he exhibited aggression in his behavior.
Galyavev has already been charged with murder. A measure of restraint will be chosen for him today.
Recall that the 19-year-old opened fire at one of the schools in Kazan the day before, resulting in the deaths of 11 people and injuring more than twenty others.
