Hayk Ghalumyan on the Situation at the Tavush 'Anvakh' Position

Reports have intensified in the press regarding the border areas of Tavush. Specifically, there are claims that the adversary is demonstrating activity in the direction of the 'Anvakh' position in the Berd community, where troop concentrations have been observed. This position was successfully held during the summer of 2020.

AuroraNews contacted the governor of Tavush, Hayk Ghalumyan. When he learned that he was being contacted by the media, he stated that he was occupied and could not speak. However, we raised the question regarding the Anvakh position, to which Ghalumyan responded: 'There is nothing. There is no such thing. They have not advanced; there are no concentrations.'

The press secretary of the Tavush governor's office also stated that they would look into the information and, if necessary, the governor's office would make an official statement.
