At This Moment, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian Should Be at Lake Sevan: Hrant Bagratyan
On November 9, it was stated in a letter that the war ends where the army stands. However, when the troops were pulled back, they told Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that our forces were 40 kilometers ahead. Why are you pulling them back? He replied that it was a verbal agreement. However, there should have been a written document indicating the position we were holding. Now the Azerbaijanis are coming and saying, 'I have GPS,' and are taking dozens of hundreds of square kilometers along the entire border.
During the press conference, former Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan noted, “According to the letter of November 9, he was supposed to recognize the borders of Armenia. This morning, Azerbaijani troops advanced 3 kilometers at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, in Sotk and Goris, and have currently seized Lake Sevan, from which the city of Goris receives water. At this moment, there is water in the city of Goris, thanks to the mercy of the Azerbaijanis, and they can cut it off at any moment.
Right now, President Armen Sarkissian should be at Lake Sevan. In a month, he will take Arman Tatoyan and, under the cover of darkness, will visit someone’s house and flee. The next question is how it happened that the Azerbaijanis advanced 3 kilometers. There should be a designated Armenian line. Azerbaijan isn’t signing any documents on delimitation and demarcation. We do not have an Armenian-Azerbaijani border,” he mentioned.
