VIDEO: Vladimir Putin's Team Wins Night Hockey League Game

Russian President Vladimir Putin is participating in a Night Hockey League game in Sochi, reports the RIA Novosti agency. Today marks the final stage of the league, during which a traditional gala game will take place in the evening with the participation of legendary Russian hockey players.

Before the game, Putin met with the President of the International Ice Hockey Federation, Rene Fasel, who informed the Russian leader about his reunion with old friends in Sochi: Vyacheslav Fetisov, Pavel Bure, Vladimir Myshkin, and Valeri Kamensky.

The Night Hockey League was established in 2011 at the initiative of Vladimir Putin and has become the leading amateur sports organization.
