Aliyev Engages in Talks with Lavrov

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev today received a delegation led by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The information has been disseminated by the press service of the Azerbaijani president, reported by Azerbaijani media outlets.

It is noteworthy that Lavrov arrived in Baku today. He will be in the capital of Azerbaijan for a two-day working visit, during which he is also scheduled to meet with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

Earlier, Russia's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova announced that Lavrov's visit aims to thoroughly discuss a wide range of issues concerning bilateral and regional cooperation, as well as collaboration in the international arena.

It is also worth mentioning that Lavrov was in Yerevan on May 5-6.
