12 New Houses Built in Artsakh's Aghavno Community: The Community is Being Resettled

In an interview with Artsakhpress, Aghavno community leader Andranik Chavushyan announced that 12 new houses have been constructed in the village. He explained that the houses have been allocated to residents who had previously submitted applications to the community administration.

“We have resettlers, most of whom are from the Kashatagh region, and one family from Hadrut. After the war, only 40 percent of the village's residents have returned, which is quite unfortunate. I have always said, 'the house belongs to the one who lives in it, and the land—to the one who cultivates it.' If our fellow villagers do not return and revitalize the village of Aghavno by the end of May, we will provide those houses to our other compatriots who need them,” Chavushyan stated, adding that construction work for new houses will begin soon.

He also noted that as part of the “Ari” program, a medical station and a playground are being constructed in the village.
