Rescuers and Police Collaborate to Prevent Citizen's Suicide Attempt, Ministry of Emergency Situations

On May 9, at 11:01 AM, the National Center for Crisis Management received a call regarding a citizen threatening to commit suicide by jumping off the Victory Bridge in Yerevan.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Yerevan Rescue Department and a duty psychologist from the Psychological Support Division were dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers, in collaboration with a police officer, successfully prevented the citizen's suicide attempt.
