Remnants of Chinese Uncontrolled Rocket Will Fall on Earth This Weekend
This weekend, a portion of the Changzheng 5-B Chinese rocket, which was used to launch the first module of the Chinese space station into orbit, will fall to Earth, reports the Russian service of the BBC.
The object, weighing 18 tons, will re-enter the dense layers of the atmosphere uncontrollably, and U.S. military experts have already expressed concerns that the debris could land in populated areas. Beijing, on the other hand, insists that the risk of any potential damage from the debris is extremely low.
