Video: An 18-Year-Old Stabbed in Erebuni, Police Report

On May 4, at 11 PM, the Erebuni Medical Center reported to the Erebuni police department that an 18-year-old had been admitted with stab wounds to various parts of the body.

The police stated that the victim was unable to provide an explanation. He suffered serious injuries. A criminal case was initiated at the territorial investigative department.

The operational group that arrived at the hospital soon clarified that the young man had been stabbed in the Freedom Fighters Park during an argument that arose without cause.

Officers from the Main Department of Criminal Police joined the investigation efforts. As a result of combined operational and investigative actions, law enforcement officials determined that another young man residing in Nor Aresh was responsible for the stabbing.

After conducting explanatory work, the 18-year-old suspect presented himself to the Erebuni police department, where he was handed over to the body conducting the preliminary investigation. He provided a confession and handed over the knife used in the crime.

Expert examinations have been appointed. The circumstances are being clarified through the investigation.
