Production of Sputnik V Vaccine Expected to Begin in Armenia
The production of the Sputnik V vaccine is set to begin in Armenia soon. This was announced today in Yerevan by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a joint press conference with acting Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan.
“We discussed today the joint efforts of Armenia and Russia in combating the coronavirus pandemic,” said Lavrov. “Another 1 million doses of the Sputnik V vaccine will be delivered to Armenia soon. The establishment of a production facility for the Sputnik V vaccine in Armenia is also under discussion.”
Lavrov reminded that several thousand doses of the Sputnik V vaccine have already been imported from Russia.
