Renowned Trainer Mikhail Baghdasarov Dies Due to Coronavirus

Mikhail Baghdasarov, a renowned animal trainer and People's Artist of Russia, has passed away at the age of 76. According to reports from RIA Novosti, he died due to complications from the coronavirus.

Born on May 23, 1945, in Baku, Mikhail Ashoty Baghdasarov dreamed of becoming a trainer from a young age. He first performed independently in 1973.

Baghdasarov was the author of numerous circus acts and was honored as a Meritorious Artist of the Armenian SSR in 1980, as well as becoming a People's Artist of Russia in 1997. He also managed the Nizhny Novgorod Circus.
