Four Men Hospitalized After Dispute at Cemetery near Davit Bek Street
On May 1, at 00:40, the operational management center of the Yerevan police received a report from the Erebuni division stating that an unknown citizen had called and reported that someone had a gunshot wound and was located on Davit Bek Street. This was announced by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
At 01:50, a report was received from the medical center that four men had been taken to the hospital with various injuries. An operational group immediately went to the medical center. According to the doctor's report, the injured were unable to provide explanations.
As a result of operational and investigative measures, it was determined that the men sustained their injuries during a dispute at the cemetery adjacent to Davit Bek Street. The investigation of the crime scene revealed a factory-numbered 5.45 mm caliber automatic pistol with a magazine containing 24 bullets, and a 'TT' type pistol without a factory number, which had a bullet jammed in the chamber. Additionally, two fired cartridges, a kitchen knife, and blood-like traces were found at the scene.
The circumstances of the incident are being clarified, and an investigation is underway.
